The Foundation
and the Kiwanis Club developed Sam Johnson Park, including
construction of the picnic pavilion, and most recently spearheaded
construction of the amphitheater seating in the new Legion
Park.
The foundation
has specific funds dedicated to parks, scholarships, and high
school athletics.
